Sampler lovers everywhere recognize
Betty Ring as the
most accomplished sampler expert of all time. If you ever had the pleasure
of listening to her speak about samplers, you NEVER forgot it. You knew
instantly that you were in the presence of sampler royalty! She
spoke for hours about samplers and did not need to refer to any notes.
Betty Ring was the ultimate
proper gracious lady. We are all fortunate to have her numerous books and
articles about schoolgirl embroidery.
Rest in Peace Dear Lady.
You'll remain in our hearts forever.
